| A right tackle for his Troup County team, Burnette has an outstanding first step and quickness that allows him to get to the second level of defenders with relative ease. With his size and quickness, he has the makings of an excellent pulling guard on the college level. He is adept at pass blocking. Burnette will not enroll early at Georgia so that he can serve as class Valedictorian. He has a GPA over 5.0.
Burnette was honored by the Georgia Magazine, AJC and GSWA with First Team All-State Honors, Orlando Sentinel All-Southern Team (GA), Mobile Press Register Super Southeast 120 (#30) and he was selected for the U.S. Army All-American Game. |
