| Okakpu has good speed and exceptional closing speed. Once Okakpu recognizes the play he shows a great first step towards the ball carrier and get there in a hurry. He tackles well and at times is a very big hitter. Okakpu runs well both north-south and sideline to sideline. Okakpu shows excellent instincts for the linebacker position. He gets off blocks quickly and really fills the hole. |

| As a junior, Okakpu had 121 tackles, 9 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, and 4 fumble recoveries as he led his team to the state championship game. He also plays basketball for his school.
