GAVSV.com looks at the 2010 Class of LB's

GAVSV.com looks at the linebackers from this class from the state of Georgia. Find out which ones made the list and find out which one we think has the most upside on the next level.

State of Georgia has never had a shortage of great linebackers. This class is no different. It may not have that "5 Star" big name, but it has the depth and a very athletic group as a whole.

In today's world of the spread offense and tampa 2 coverage's the linebackers must be run stoppers and be able to cover a slot receiver on the seam route.

Here is a group we think that can do all of those things.

Tommy Sanders/Crisp County This Central Florida commit may have the biggest ceiling of all the linebackers in the state on the next level. The moment I put in his film, I really liked this kid. He has tremendous football speed and is really a striker coming off the edge.

Vic Beasley/Adairsville At 6'4" and 220lbs, Beasley is the easy choice as a bus captain. Meaning he is the first player you want coming off the bus at visiting stadium. Perhaps no player in Georgia has better spring among the linebackers than Beasley. A little raw, but has really picked it up and I consider him a top 20 player overall in Georgia.

Michael Taylor/Westlake-I had the opportunity to work with Taylor in the linebacker group at the Scout.Com had didn't let me down. Very physical and was able to run with some athlete's much smaller than him. A true Mike LB on the next level.

Zander Ogletree/Newnan- Twin brother of 5 star safety Alec, he is getting over looked. I have seen him 2 times in person play and he is a tackling machine. He has a nose for the football and plays all over the field. Some school is going to take a chance on him and get a gift in Ogletree.

Telvin Smith/Lowndes- At a tad under 6'4" and 200 lbs, Smith is long and perfect OLB against the spread offense. He big enough to cover a TE and fast enough to cover that inside slot with safety help over the top. He was really good in his drops at the Scout.Com combine this past spring.

Others to Watch Deandre Smelter,Shaun Kitchens,Aaron Gambroah, Michael Carisle, Clarance Jackson, Cody Ralston
