GAVSV.com Looks At Peach State Best Lineman

GAVSV.com looks at some of the best Offensive lineman from the state of Georgia.

I will withhold any team names, but last year during the playoffs, I kept telling people in the business that this one (finesse) team could not be beat. Well, I let all that smoke screen of a offensive hinder my thinking, because when they faced a smash mouth team that could ball control them that high scoring offense sit on the sideline all night long and they lost.

No matter how you look at it, games are won up front. Now matter what goes on behind it, it starts up front.

Tonight we will take a look at some the state's best of the 2010 class.

Ju'Wuan James of North Gwinnett may be one of the most underrated prospects in the entire south. I have seem alot of the "higher" profile O-lineman from around the south and nobody has a bigger ceiling than James can have on the next level. Most kids have trouble adjusting to pass blocking in college. James is always ready, he just needs to get more physical in run oriented situations. This will come in time. Alabama Bound

Ed Christian- Big body OT from Lowndes that is already committed to Florida State. He looks to be extremely strong in his upper body. This leds me to believe he will play early for the Seminoles.

Austin Shephard also from North Gwinnett. He is the classic old school offensive lineman at 6'4" and 330 lbs. He will play Guard or Center at Alabama. He and James team up to give North Gwinnett a huge o line.

Kolton Houston- 6'5" 270 lbs lineman from powerhouse Buford. Houston may be the most athletic lineman in the state. He can get out in space and block a LB when needed. UGA bound.

Morgan Bailey- 6'5" 285 lbs from Loganville. This Georgia Tech commit will get to block this year for LSU commit Storm Johnson. Shows good pad level and great feet on film.

David Yankey- Centennial HS another 6'5" 275 lb lineman. Yankey has great intial punch and engages good on the 2nd level. Needs to work on pad level at times, but has a nasty streak that O line coaches covet.

Others to Keep a Eye Out For-Max Garcia( Norcross), Reid Webster( Etowah),Daniel Blitch( North Hall), Du'von Millsap ( Buford),Cameron Fordham( Northview), Kasey Morrison ( Forsyth Central)
