2010 Athlete Senorise Perry Talks Recruiting

GAVSV.com talks with one of the fastest players in the state of Georgia.

The South is known for its speed among its high school football players. Senorise Perry of Chattooga High School may be one of the top 20 fastest in the entire South when 100%.

He has been under the radar until recently. He is holding a offer from Western Carolina currently. However the SEC came calling a few backs when Florida called to invite him to their "Friday Night Lights" camp next week.

Coach Brad Waggoneer, who is now the coach at Chattooga told me recently that he is the fastest player he has ever coached. That is saying something because he coached Calvin Johnson, while he was a assistant at Sandy Creek.

What has the Spring and Summer like for you under Coach Waggoneer?

Senorise Perry-" We have been working really hard trying to get better. We are trying to learn a whole new offense. Last year we were a Wing T and now we are running the spread."

How has your recruiting been going?

Perry-" I have one offer from Western Carolina. I went over to Georgia's one day and they told me I did real good at Safety and Wide Receiver. Florida has called me and I am going down there for their FNL camp. Auburn has also been in contact with me recently."

Do you have a preference on a position in college?

Perry-" I just really want to play. I think I am better on Offense than Defense at this point, but I will play anywhere."

What is your current size?

Perry-" I am 6'1" 190 lbs.

You won the AA state championship as a sophomore in the 100. How did you do this year?

Perry-" Ah man, I pulled my quad and couldn't do much this year, but I will be back next spring."
