Freshman Preview: Riverdale's Cordy Glenn
Recruitment: It all came down Georgia, Alabama and Florida for Glenn's services and despite a strong push from the Gators and an even stronger push from the Crimson Tide, the former Riverdale star eventually chose the in-state Bulldogs. Glenn gave UGA his verbal pledge in November just a week after taking an official visit to the Alabama campus. "I like the academics," Glenn said of Georgia at the time. "I really like the coaches, too. I liked the way they talked. I liked how they talked about family life – that's why I felt Georgia was the place for me."
At UGA: The Bulldogs don't boast any seniors at offensive tackle. Glenn will have the opportunity to fight for playing time with a host of youngsters in sophomores Josh Davis Trinton Sturdivant and Kiante Tripp.
