McNair's Graham Has 3 Out-of-State Offers Premium Story
GAVSV.com Recruiting Report

Posted Apr 20, 2008

Wide receiver/safety prospect's skills have been noticed throughout the country. Find out inside which three schools have extended scholarship offers to Quintavious Graham.

A lot of times, some of the first few college scholarship offers that a high school football prospect receives come from programs in close geographical proximity.

Quintavious Graham is not one of those prospects.

According to the McNair star, he has received three scholarship offers but none is from the state of Georgia and none is from the Atlantic Coast or Southeastern Conferences. He has received one offer from not-too-far-away Louisville, but the interest in his football prowess has extended to the north from Wisconsin and to the Pacific Northwest from Oregon.

"It feels good to be offered by them," Graham told GAVSV.com. "I don't know too much about Oregon and Wisconsin because they are so far away but I am going to look into them. I know I will go visit Wisconsin - probably in the summer."

The Cardinals are a program that the 6-foot-1 and 168-pound athlete does know a great deal about - and not just because of the school's location.

Graham paid a visit to the Louisville campus earlier this month and came away impressed.

"I liked the visit there a lot," he said. "The facilities are nice. The coaches there know what they are doing and they put the players in position to win. I could see myself playing for them and going to school there."

As far as position, Graham stars on both offense and defense for McNair.

He says that some of the schools he is hearing from are recruiting him as a safety and others as a wide receiver. Asked to explain which position he feels the most comfortable playing, the answer was easy.

"Definitely wide receiver," Graham said. "Just because I feel the most comfortable there. I have been playing receiver since I was eight years old. But I will also play safety if that's what my coaches want me to play in college. It doesn't matter."

Graham has big plans this weekend but it doesn't involve football as he will attend prom. Next weekend he is slated to compete in McNair's annual spring game.
