Former Lithia Springs Star Scores Huge Deal

Calvin Pace, the former Wake Forest and Arizona Cardinals player, signs with the New York Jets.

Former Lithia Springs High star Calvin Pace has reached a free agent contract agreement with the NFL's New York Jets according to reports.

The defensive end/linebacker had played for the Arizona Cardinals for five years after being selected in the first round out of Wake Forest.

The deal for the Georgia native calls for $26 million to be paid in the contract's first three years and makes Pace one of the highest paid linebackers in NFL history.

Pace starred at Lithia Springs High before earning a football scholarship at Wake Forest.

For his career, he boasts 187 tackles and 14 sacks in 67 games played. Recommended Stories
