Keith Wells' recruitment was a roller coaster ride, but in the end Buckeye Land was the place to be. | |||

Keith Wells is happy with his decision to sign a Letter of Intent with Ohio State University. At the culmination of a whirlwind recruitment that featured a commitment and then de-commitment from Florida State and then an all-out rush to gain his services by three elite programs, Wells is happy with the way it all worked out. Once the Seminoles were out of the picture, it came down to Ohio State, Tennessee and Notre Dame. And while the Buckeyes were long considered the team to beat for Wells, a good visit to South Bend and to Knoxville left it far from an uncertainty that he would wind up in Columbus. But as it turns out, it was always going to be OSU. "Ohio State was just the most comfortable feel for me of all the schools," Wells told GAVSV.com. "It just felt right." Now that it is all over with and his Letter of Intent has been signed, sealed and delivered to head coach Jim Tressel and his staff, Wells is relieved the whole process is complete. "It feels so good," Wells said. "It's a huge weight off my shoulders." |
