Neiko Lipscomb's decision between UGA and Auburn probably made easier this weekend. | |||

According to reports throughout the state, Tucker High standout Neiko Lipscomb did not take an official visit to the University of Georgia this weekend. Lipscomb had said in an interview earlier last week that he would likely visit Athens after an enjoyable trip to Auburn. It was then said that he would likely decide between the two after that visit to the Bulldogs campus. Now that the visit didn't take place - presumably because UGA is running thin on available scholarships - Lipscomb may decide to commit to the Tigers this week. The three-star defensive back was not immediately available to speak Sunday afternoon. In a previous interview he said that his trip to visit the Tigers recently "was a good visit" and that he "got to bond with the players and see the school." "It was good," he said about the trip. Lipscomb's head football coach, Franklin Stephens, recently told AUTigers.com that “basically (Lipscomb) liked what Auburn had to offer over that way." Stay tuned to see if Lipscomb becomes the fourth Peach State native to join Auburn's 2008 recruiting class. |
