As one of the top wide receiver prospects in the Peach State, everyone has been paying attention to the recruitment of Josh Jarboe
, waiting for him to make decision.
And as it turns out, coaches from either Florida
may get some good news by this weekend.
Jarboe, who is currently practicing for the inaugural UnderArmor All-American game this Saturday at 2 p.m. and lists the afore mentioned schools as his top four, told GAVSV.com
Wednesday night that he may commit before the week is over.
"I just might," he said. "I am going to talk to my mom about it and I might pick one of them. I don't know yet if I definitely will but there's a good chance."
Jarboe has taken official visits to Oklahoma and LSU and says that despite the fact that he hasn't done the same for Florida and Georgia, that won't stand in his way in choosing a school."
"If I commit to a school I haven't gone to yet I will just visit them after," Jarboe said.
As for what he is looking for in a school, the Cedar Grove High standout says that it all comes down to comfort and the opportunity to make an immediate impact.
"I want to play right away and help the team," Jarboe said. "Wherever I feel is the best choice, that's the one I'll pick."
In the meantime, the talented three-star prospect plans on continuing to turn some heads at the UnderArmour practices.
Already spectators, coaches and fellow players have taken notice of the 6-foot-3 and 195-pound receiver. Scout.com
recruiting analyst Allen Trieu even called Jarboe "the most impressive wide receiver" Wednesday morning.
"It is becoming a regular thing to see him dive, extend himself and make a great catch," Trieu wrote.
Jarboe says he is just doing whatever he can to make people notice.
"I think I am doing good," he said. "There are a lot of good players out here like Julio Jones
and it's fun playing with good people. It's fun showing some real good players what you can do."
