Busy Summer For Dalton QB

Harrison Scott, from Dalton High School in Dalton, Georgia, has been busy all summer attending camps and visiting college campuses. GAVSV.com caught up with the 6-foot-2, 190-pound quarterback prospect to find out the latest with his recruiting process.
Harrison Scott
had just returned from the FCA Team Sports Camp at the University of West Georgia when we caught up with him. He talked to GAVSV.com about his busy summer.
"Everything has been going pretty good," Scott said. "We just got back from the FCA camp yesterday. I was pretty much gone the entire month of June to different schools. I went to
Marshall
,
Cincinnati
,
Northwestern
,
Indiana
, Appalachian State,
North Carolina State
and UT-Chattanooga. I was gone for three straight weeks."
Of those schools, which ones showed the most interest?
"Marshall had a lot of interest in me when I was up there," Scott said. "I did real good at their camp. Northwestern also showed me a lot of interest while I was up there. Cincinnati liked me, but they had already had one quarterback to commit and they had another one offered. Appalachian State told me they were interested and they wanted to see me again."
"The NC State coach said he was real impressed with the way I threw the ball, but they needed a taller quarterback to run their offense. He basically told me, if I was a little bit taller, I would get a pretty good shot up there."
That's very interesting indeed, especially since Harrison Scott stands 6-foot-2. The Pack just recently netted 6-foot-6 quarterback prospect
Mike Glennon
from Virginia.
Scott is still waiting for his first scholarship offer. Right now, he's working out with his team in the weight room as he prepares to hit the road again in two more weeks. He'll be attending a (full contact) camp in Tennessee with his Dalton teammates.
