Northside-WR Receiver Holds Two Offers

Northside-Warner Robins wide receiver Nick Bass is getting his share of attention from some major football programs. In fact, the 5-foot-11, 195-pounder has already picked up a couple of offers including one from a major SEC program.

"Tennessee and Indiana have offered me," said Bass. "Tennessee was the last one to offer me. They sent me the offer in a letter last week. It was the first letter they ever sent me."

"I'm getting mail from South Carolina, Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt, Clemson, Auburn, Georgia and Illinois the most."

Bass said he does have a leader.

"I really haven't been to very many schools yet, but right now, I would have to say Tennessee is my favorite," said Bass. "I grew up watching them and everything. They have a great football program and they offered me as well."

Bass has attended junior days at Georgia, Auburn, and Georgia Tech.

As a junior, Bass had 39 receptions for 524 yards and 13 touchdowns to help lead his Northside Eagles to the 2006 Class 4A State Championship.
