Alex Daniel has been receiving attention from a number of programs throughout the Southeast.
He has already attended a couple of junior days and plans to attend several more junior days over the next few weeks.
"I've been to Junior Days at Vanderbilt and Alabama," said Daniel. "I'm going up to Auburn this Saturday. I'm headed to Central Florida in a couple of weeks and I think I might be going to the Tennessee Junior day as well."
Daniel has proven to be a tough, durable runner with surprising speed. He consistently runs the forty in the 4.50 range and he rushed for nearly 600 yards in the playoffs while wearing a knee brace after a MCL injury in Roswell's first playoff game.
He talked about his top three schools and what he likes about each one.
"Right now, my favorite schools are probably Vanderbilt, Alabama and I like Clemson a whole lot," said Daniel. "Those are probably my top three."
Vanderbilt - "I've gotten to know some of their coaches pretty well. I've been getting a lot of stuff from them since I was a freshman. I like their coaches a lot. I've been to their camps every summer since I got into High School. Their facilities are real nice and I like the town and everything. It's real nice there."
Alabama - "My Dad is from Alabama and he's a huge Alabama fan. They have some of the best facilities I have seen. Coach Burton Burns is their running backs coach and I like him a lot. I talked to him at their junior day and he seemed to be a nice guy. I like their coaches a lot."
Clemson - "I used to play basketball and I've been to some basketball camps up there. I liked it a lot and I always had a good time up there. I always kind of pulled for their team and everything."
Daniel said several factors will play into his decision."I'll take a look at the facility and my position coach that will be coaching me there. I'll have to tour the town and see what it's like and everything. The campus and atmosphere will also be very important to me." Alex Daniel in Action:
