The GACA All Star Game gives the seniors one last chance to suit up before moving on to the next level. It also gives the recruits a chance to see these kids play in a high-level form of competition. Both the North and the South rosters are filled with some of the best talent to ever compete in this event. Here is a look at the North roster.

The North Squad will be led by:

Rennie Curran (5-11/202, LB, Brookwood) - Scout.com four-star linebacker Rennie Curran holds the Gwinnett County record for tackles in a season with 194 in 2005. He has good instincts, has shown a knack for being right in the middle of the play and makes some hard, physical tackles. The speedy linebacker runs the forty in the 4.5 range. Curran had 150 tackles in 12 games as a senior. He is committed to Georgia.

Nick Claytor (6-6/315, Gainesville) - A dominating left tackle prospect, Claytor is big, mobile, and he does a excellent job of finishing his blocks. Claytor is also a solid student with a 3.5 GPA. The Scout.com four-star offensive lineman holds offers from Ohio State, Auburn, Florida State, LSU among others, but he will play his college ball at Georgia Tech.

Roddy Jones
Roddy Jones (5-9.5/183, Chamblee) - Roddy Jones is Dekalb County's all-time leading rusher with 5,055 career yards on 808 carries. Jones is tough enough to run between the tackles and definitely fast enough to get around the edge. With a reported 4.43 speed in the 40, he can be a threat to score from anywhere on the field. Jones is committed to Georgia Tech.

Ted Laurent (6-1/285, McEachern) - Ted Laurent is ranked 22nd among defensive tackles in the nation by Scout.com. He is a big, strong defensive tackle with very good natural athletic ability. Laurent consistently disrupts, penetrates and makes plays in the backfield. With scholarship offers from Miami-Fl, Mississippi State, Georgia Tech, LSU and Auburn, Laurent is currently commited to Mississippi.

John Douglas
John Douglas (6-2,235, Aquinas) A two-star prospect at fullback with good speed and hands, Douglas was a standout at Auburn’s Senior Camp. In fact, his performance earned him an offer from the Tigers. Douglas is a four-year starter for Aquinas High. He committed to Auburn back in June.
