I am not as familiar with these two Single A teams. I don't believe either
has a player that has been offered a D1 scholarship yet, but you can bet that a
team that beat Metter 56-7 (Lincoln) has some talent on the field.

One of the most intriguing matchups of the day also features some of the best
talent. The #1
Prospect in the state of Georgia Eric McLendon will suit up for Vidalia.
McLendon will likely choose the Georgia Bulldogs on signing day.

Seth Watts will not suit up for Washington County, but Tony Richardson will.
Kentucky fans can get their first look at commitment Wesley Woodyard who scored
the only points with a safety in the Grangers' 2-0 Quarterfinal win over
Swainsboro.

Erik Walden of TCC might be the biggest name in this huge matchup, but he
has been banged up and likely won't play this weekend. Marist looks to be
healthy with Sean McVay looking at the likes of Tulane, Miami (OH), Air Force,
and Georgia Tech. Chris Davis is another player that is giving Georgia Tech a
strong look, and OL Matt Rumsey is already committed to Duke.

Easily the most star studded game of the the day, Camden County will have two
players that will stay the night in Atlanta and visit Georgia Tech officially
this weekend in Djay Jones and Kevin Patterson.
Newnan has two of the top players in the state in Demiko Goodman and Earnest Mitchell. Mitchell is taking a hard look at Florida State, and Goodman will
likely come down between Georgia and Florida State.

Clinch County is going to be bringing some serious talent into the Dome to kick
off Saturday's action. Joe Mingo, Dexter Foster and Lorenzo Kelsaw are all
players that can get it done.
But the big name in this game is worth the price of admission alone. Georgia
Commitment Charles Johnson will do it all for the Red Devils, and if you haven't
seen him play, get out of bed early and get to the Dome for this game. You will
not be disappointed. We're talking about a player that is 6-3 and 250 pounds
that will line up at DE, LB, RB, and WR as well as return punts.

VS. 
Decatur has gotten to the Dome with a lot of young players that are going to be
prospects in the class of 2005.
Buford has gotten to the Dome with more Division 1 prospects than some entire
regions in 5A. Kyle Manley has already made a commitment to Georgia Tech. Zach Smith is committed to Duke. Neil Brown is still looking at several colleges, and
Darius Walker has a list of favorites that measures up to his career touchdown
record. This is another "Don't Miss" game.

Spalding has gotten to the Dome with a lot of Blue Collar work and good effort.
They will be trying to stop a Peach County team that is loaded with talent.
Georgia fans are going to want to get to the Dome for this game as well.
Quarterback A.J. Bryant is enrolling at Georgia in January, but he has other
things on his mind right now, like a state title. He could be electric on the
Dome's carpet. Roger King is another speedster to keep an eye out for, and Peach
will feature three of the state's top juniors. You might as well bring plenty of
money for food on Saturday, because you aren't going to want to miss this game
either.

VS. 
Statesboro dismissed their coach yesterday. What kind of effect will that have
on the team? We'll find out in a hurry Saturday night because Tucker is loaded
with talent.
Tucker features Nebraska commitment D.T. McDowell (QB), Auburn commitment James Swinton (WR), and All-State DE Brandon Lang who could choose between Florida
State and Georgia. Georgia commitment Thomas Brown will miss this game with an
injury, and his teammates will have to continue to step it up.

VS. 
Valdosta is another blue collar team that I am looking forward to seeing in
person for the first time this year. Carlton Williams is a big safety prospect
that is getting some looks.
Travis Evans of Westside Macon went past the 5,000 yard mark this season, and I
am looking forward to getting my first look at him this Saturday. He wasn't at
any camps this summer, and getting film on him has been like pulling teeth.
We're talking about one of the most productive running backs in Georgia High
School history. Stick around for the late game and check him out.
As you can see, there is a reason for nearly every college fan in the south to
come to the Dome and check out one of your future stars. College Football is
stronger in the South than it is anywhere else in the country, and it all starts
