Helms still solid

Cory Helms made his commitment to Wake Forest in June. At the time, he was just the second commitment in the Demon Deacon recruiting class. After six months, Helms is still solid and has a big December planned with a visit to Houston for the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl on the 30th.

"I thought the season went well," said Cory Helms. "It was tough loss to South Gwinnett in the playoffs. Individually, I felt like I played really well. I was a team captain. I made first team All- Fulton County and I'm the watch list for All-State. To play center you need to be quick.
