Camara commits to Gamecocks

West Forsyth (Cumming, Ga.) SPUR Mohamed Camara committed to South Carolina Friday.

Anthem Insider: More on Camara

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound prospect picked up his first offer from South Carolina quarterbacks coach G.A. Mangus back in March and the Gamecocks have led since that point.

"I really like the staff at South Carolina and they offering me means something," he said. "It is exciting, it feels to good to have that first offer, and I am very happy about it."

Camara also visited for the Garnet and Black spring game in April.

Camara's other options were from Jacksonville State and Western Kentucky, but he was a high priority for the South Carolina staff. Recommended Stories
